“ Zach serves the BEST burgers in the north shore of Tahoe. A double patty, and the thing is, the meat is so flavorful. Lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, cheese, AND jalapeños too. And the buns are super fresh. Can't say enough good things about CB's! ”
“ What a fabulous find! Cutest little place ever. Love the vibe. Decorations are great - the local artists on the wall, the authentic old lunch boxes. The food was amazing. My husband had the meatiest ribs ever and I had the fish tacos which were delicious. The owner Zach was so welcoming and genuine Lake Tahoe. Super place ! ”
“ I have popped into cb's every time I'm in Tahoe for years and have always had a good experience. I liked the old ownership as much as I like the new ones. The negative reviews on here are wild. If you're not planning on tipping on a tab over $100- It's pretty simple.... Don't. Eat. Out! Go wait in line at Safeway and pay even more to make your own food. As a second home owner here I'm aware i am apart of the problem so I do my absolute best to support the full time locals so I can continue to have awesome restaurants to go to. Anyways, the menu at cb's keeps getting better and better and the bartenders are consistently kind and welcoming. It's clearly a locals spot and it's nice to be accepted, even as a (frequent) tourist. A special thank you to Chelsey for always taking good care of me and my kiddos! ”
“ We were at cbs today (food and service, outstanding as usual) and saw something that makes me cringe a little. Zack, the amazing owner, got stiffed by some young kids on $100 tab. Such a bummer to see locals getting the short end from entitled people. We will pick up the slack for Zack because he works so hard for us.y ”

“ Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the family favorite and patty's lasagna pie pizza. It was good and filling. We had leftovers and it was just as good the next day. ”
“ Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light. ”
